I did get a new digital camera. I will be posting the pictures that I’ve taken in the images section. It’s not uploaded yet. I will post the updates here. I’m pretty excited about it. The only thing that I dont like about it is the battery runs out pretty quick and the camera gets really hot :hot if you are using it too much. Speaking of hot, today is Canada Day :bigmouth. My family and I went to this park in Pickering and the weather was so freaking hot…. :hot The weather channel stated that theres a slight chance of rain and thuderstorms but the sun was shining the whole day! :smile We went to the lake which was nearby the park.. It was pretty cool considering how the lake is right next to the Pickering Power Plant :look The water is probably contaminated or something…. lol It did smell pretty bad because it is from a lake… I’m not sure whether it’s from Lake Ontario or something… But it was cool because you can feel the breeze going through… My cousins were also playing soccer and volleyball. I wanted to play but I wore sandals instead of running shoes… :sowhat I wanted to play so badly… But oh well.. Maybe next time :smile. Thats all the blog right now. Once my camera’s battery is charged, I will post the pics from the party including the modelling pictures that I took of my cousins. :winktongue

I finally finished my essay tonight. I didnt get a chance to print it right away because I had to take care of my baby sister so she goes to sleep. She finally slept at 1am. For a baby, thats pretty late. Anyway, I went to work today again. I did some reading :read for school which was great because I know that i wont be able to do any reading this week. I’m practically working when I dont have a class which sucks like crap. :slant The reason for that is my manager is on vacation. Since she’s out, I gotta work like I’m full time or something. Then again it is worth it because I get paid alot more than usual considering how I’m on minimum wage :no.

Thanks to all those people who commented on my pictures. I did take more pics and they arent uploaded yet. They will be found on the ‘art’ section once they are on the net. God I’m so obsessed with taking pics of the flowers in the front yard. They grow more and more everyday!!! :smile Thus more reasons for me to take pics…. :winktongue Anyway, that is all right now. Ever get that feeling that the internet is filled with a bunch of idiotic people?! :sowhat I was viewing this message board tonight (I wont say the name) and saw that the members are just plain…. immature??? And… irrational? It’s like they have nothing else to do with their life but insult other members… This blog entry might sound unfair to otheres but hey what can you do. It’s my rant for the night. :smile Anyway back to the topic, there’s this one member in the board thats totally bugging the crap out me. First of all, she’s a damn hypocrite. I wont get into details… But I just want to slap the shit out of her because she talks as if she’s all that.. God knows shes probably only 15.. (I checked on her bio). She’s so fucking opinionated that sometimes I wished someone put some glue on your keyboard so she doesnt post in the board anymore… :slant Then in this same board, there’s this constant yapping and gossipping about these 2 girls constantly stealing each other’s layouts. Damn people stop talking about these Krystle and Annie girl. Who cares really. Yeah ok both stole from each other. Yet others are suspecting that they are the same people. But seriously… Get over it.. It was long gone. Stop calling the other a thief. People make mistakes.. People learn from those mistakes… I hope. Now stop talking trash about those people. If you have nothing nice to say, shut your mouth. I know that if you were to ask your opinion about them in real life or one-on-one, you wouldnt say the same things you said. Some of them probably dont have the guts to say the things they said… :snooty That’s all for the rambling now… :rude

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have added an image gallery instead of that cheap photos section. The image gallery isnt done but it is viewable. Nothing else is going on except for the fact that I’m working the early shift tomorrow which sucks because I to sleep in. :winktongue The shift starts at 9 am so that means i have to wake up at 8 am to prepare myself and what not. :sowhat

Finally my week of constant working is done. Then 5 days of break but I have school during those breaks though which isnt too bad because I have things to do while I’m in school. Then back to work this Friday.

So as I was walking to work today, I remembered putting a $20 bill under the register keyboard. That was the missing money that we had yesterday. We were short $17.50 and now that I found it, I was so damn relieved. :hyper I left a note to my boss stating that that $$ is for the shortage on Saturday. Other than that work today wasnt at all that bad, I got to do some of my reading during work. I have been doing that alot lately. Since the store isnt really that busy, I bring my books and I read. :read lol I’m such a bloody dork. :bigmouth oh well…. I gotta make some sacrifices if I really want to increase my GPA….

Today my mom went to work for the first time since last year when she was in maternity leave because of my sister. It was different now that she didnt drive me home from work. It will be even more different now that I have to do more babysitting when she does her night shifts. That means that I wont be able to do alot of homework and more reading during work… :rude Oh well.. sacrifices…

I will be adding more photos in the gallery… The reason why there isnt alot or any photos of me is because I hate taking pics of myself and I’m not exactly photogenic or anything. I will put my pics though but not right now. :bigmouth

Guess what?! The hard work has paid off.. For now anyway. I got my midterm test today and I got 73% which means its a B!!!! :jump I was so surprised with this because all I wanted was a 60% in this test. Thankfully I watched those movies before the test or else I wouldnt know how to answer the third part. Then now I have another essay due in 2 weeks. Basically it’s comparing 2 films by Anthony Mann. Both have to be in different genres. I have to compare the themes and styles. The essay has to be in less than 8 pages.. Bleh.. I have writing long essays. Then again it is a movie which means I have to take notes on every single detail which I hope will take up alot of space in the paper. :sly

On another note, I just read my email from a friend of mine. Her birthday is on the 18th and she’s celebrating it this Friday. It’s basically clubbing with her friends and cousins. I’m not sure if I will go. The club is called Intercourze… :yuck God knows that the hell that means :sowhat. I sorta dont want know. I have yet to know what kind of club it is. Let me know what I should do. :smile

I have decided to go to the club, Intercourze on Friday night. It is my friend’s birthday so.. yeah.. I’ve decided to be a good friend.. :bigmouth. Today I
received the letter from the government concerning my Student loans from them. Suprisingly enough, they only granted me $244 for the whole school year… Hmm… Thats basically the price of 2 books… :irked Obviously that isnt enough for tuition. I need around 5 grand to pay my tuition this September. I dont know if anybody remembers but last year I had the same problem. The government only granted me $500 then I asked for an appeal then they finally gave me the $5000 (ish) that I need to pay my tuition. I gotta do the same thing again and the whole process of appeal is not easy. I gotta send all these proofs that my parents cannot afford my tuition. Documents like electricity bills, phone bills, car insurance and debt from credit cards are to be sent to them. Forgot to mention that I also need to send them proof that I am working in the summer. The government expects every student who asks for Student loan to have some kind of job during the summer or else how are you going to pay for the damn thing? I’m so glad that I applied earlier this year because last year I applied in August and the whole process took forever. Bleh.. I hate the government… Damn Canada…:angryfire

I would talk about what happened friday night but I”d rather not. I might talk about it in a few days when I am feeling all better but right now I am so depressed and upset about what happened on Friday that I’d rather not spill it here. I dont know if I will ever say it online but you never know.

So here’s the ordeal that happened on Friday night. Note that this incident still hurts and I do hope that this never happens to anyone.

So Friday night was clubbing night. My parents didnt know that I was going clubbing but I did tell them that I was going to sleep over at my friend’s house which was the truth. I packed up my stuff and when my friend picked me up from my house, she told me that we were going straight to the club. This happened at around 10 pm. I was surprised by this because I thought that we would stop by at her house so I could change to the club and drop off my things. So we decided to stop by at her friend’s house so I could change in her bathroom. After the changing, we went to the club. The club was in an area where…. Shootings happen… I didnt know this until we got there. The club was ladies free before 11:15 pm. We stopped at the parking lot first while my friend called a few people who were also coming to the club. Then after that at 11 pm we decided to go in because we didnt want to pay… I asked my friend if I could put my backpack in her car trunk because I didnt want anyone seeing it from her car. I took out my driver’s license and my cellphone. The license was for ID’s which was needed for the club because it was a 19+ club. And that was the beginning…. At 2:30 pm we decided to go home. I thought it was pretty early considering how the club wasnt really that bad… Except for the music because all they played was reggae. So we were driving to my friend’s house and once we got to her house, everything went downhill from there. As soon as she opened her trunk, my backpack was missing. My friend’s stuff from work was also missing. So basically all my shit was stolen from her trunk. Let me tell you this, I left the club semi-drunk and when I saw that my shit was stolen, my “drunkness” went away and I started bawling in her front yard. Remember this is around 3 am in the morning. We went inside her house and my other friend was calling the police while I continue to bawl my eyes out. So many things were stolen from me including my wallet, cd walkman, backpack, skirt, pajamas, jeans, 2 tshirts, see-through dress shirt, health card, social insurance card, 3 credit cards, bank card and my student card. It still feels raw for a bit now. I got home at 4 am and my parents were yelling at me while i call the credit card company. It really wasnt easy considering how I slept at 5 am and woke up at 9 am.. Not enough of sleep.

On Saturday I was suppose to work but I told my boss that I couldnt come in because I had to talk to the cops. I told them everything that I had lost and he even gave me a lecture that people shouldnt leave anything in their cars. I already felt bad enough and here he goes lecturing me. I cancelled all my credit cards and got a new bank card. My mom went with me on Saturday to replace the bank card. She’s been supporting me on this. She’s been comforting me and telling me that I just had a bad experience and now I know what not to do. Tomorrow we’re going to get my new health card and my new social insurance card.

Anyway, that’s what my weekend mainly consists of.. Yes I know it was total crap weekend. The worst weekend in my life. :weeping
