Guess what?! I got the mp3 player that I won through Ebay! :hyper:jump I didnt think I would get it until tomorrow but when I saw the mail man put the mail through the slot, I just had to go outside and check. Then there it was a yellow-colored package. It’s navy blue and its pretty. Lol. That’s a little vague but oh well. It’s 512 mb and the company is unknown. You can tell it’s unknown because there’s no logo and the instructions lacks grammar just like me. :rosiecheeks

Aside from that my mom started doing her Xmas shopping for the kids. Buying toys in the toy store warehouse. I also have to start mine. She’s the only one that I know what to get for. Everybody else I just have to wing it. :bigmouth

Is it me or is communication through email or messengers just isnt enough? Let me type that another way. Is it me or is email and instant messengers not an effective tool for communicating to people these days? :irked That’s practically why a friend of mine is ticked off that another friend isnt emailing back to us. I told her that maybe she hasnt read the email. This isnt the first time that this girl hasnt emailed us back. This emailing thing is apparently very important for we are planning on meeting on the 22nd for a get-together. We haven seen each other for a while now so this holiday is a plan to see each other and have dinner before one of us goes to England as a foreign exchange student. :no You can call it jealousy or whatever but I dont want her to go. I’m not jealous but I will miss her terribly….:weeping She’s going to be there from January to April which sucks. Thats such a long time… If this dinner thing on the 22nd doesnt happen, I want to take her out to lunch or something before she leaves. She did take me out on my birthday to this Thai restaurant and the food there is awesome. So I might take her there considering how I rarely go to restaurants. I will miss her.. :hug

Anyway tomorrow I start work early and finish early. Thank God. I really want to do this Philosophy essay before it’s too late. That’s it. Please do not spam my comments. :sowhat

I cannot wait for these 2 movies to come out. I’m such a sucker for Horror flicks. The first one is called Devil’s Rejects and the 2nd is High Tension. The 2nd has this Freddy/Jason theme going on so I dont think it will be that scary. The first one is made by Rob Zombie which is a plus. If you go to this site and click on Dissection, there’s a list of horror/gore movies that I must see but dont know where to get because they arent Hollywood type horror flicks… I must search somewhere on how to get a hold of them.

So my mom finally has our Xmas tree up. She had made the silver ribbons herself and bought the silver ornaments last year after Xmas because it was on sale. If you want to see what it looks like without the lights, here it is. Aside from that I just finished my Philosophy yesterday this morning at 1:30 am. I’m a little nervous though because I have to upload my essay to Turn it in to check for Plagiarism. They scan 20,000 essays that gets uploaded everyday to check if the student plagiarized. I cited every quote there is and added a bibliography so I hope everything will turn out okay. After all, technology isnt 100% perfect so it’s possible that Turnitin could falsely accuse a student of plagiarizing… I wouldnt want to be that student..

I’m officially finished my first semester as of yesterday. I’m quite happy about that. :hyper Math exam was a bitch. It started of as me forgetting my student card. Normally they wouldnt let you write the exam unless you have your student id because people in the past have paid people to write the exam for them. They were really tight about that in my previous university now it isnt. I got lucky I guess. All I needed was an identification so it was me that is writing an exam. Then the actual exam was pretty difficult as well. I did realize that 2 of the questions looked very familiar. Then it dawned on me that they were the homework questions. This is the second time that this has happened to me on an exam. On my calculus exam on April had some questions that were also in the book. This time it happens again. The worst part is I didnt do the questions when I was studying because I thought it was too hard. I hit myself in the head regretting myself that. If I had only written the ‘hint answer’ in my formula sheet then at least I had known what to do. :paperbag I’m so dumb sometimes. Whatever. It’s all in the past. I should be relieved that I am now done this stupid school for a few weeks. Then on January I’m on to some new subjects with the same people. I do hope that I’ll have the same classes as the people I have met in school.

Today I went shopping with my mom and baby sister. I didnt get a chance to buy anything just window shopping and what not. I did find this real nice winter boots from Town Shoes. I hope to buy it soon even though its over $100+. :rosiecheeks I also stopped by La Vie En Rose which is a lingerie store. If its one thing I’m addicted to is shopping for panties. I hate shopping for bras but I shopping for panties. Not thongs, panties. There’s a difference. The store always has a sale on their undies. $10 for 5. I always find over 10 that I like. But this time I restrained myself to not getting any since I have way too much panties… lol. Thats enough information already…..:shhh Maybe I’ll come back there or something after Xmas…:winktongue

Ugh it’s so freaking cold out there. -32 Celsius in here in Toronto. That would be 89.6 Fahrenheit for the Americain’s out there. I had to take the bus to and from work today and as soon as I was inside whether in the mall or at home, my face was as red as an apple. :rosiecheeks I hate winters. I dont mind so much about the snow, which we dont have right now but I do mind the real cold weather. Not to mention the fact that I havent finished my Christmas shopping…:slant I’m such a procrastinator as I’m sure alot of you are! lol :lol2

So it turns out I’m working tomorrow. :angryfire I wasnt suppose to but my manager has to work in another location because they dont have enough staff. So I have to fill in for her. :sowhat That’s not good since I was going to use tomorrow as a day to do my Xmas shopping. Yes it is last minute but I’m not too worried. I am a little worried at the fact that I need a gift for a friend since we’re doing this whole Kris Kringle thing. Then at 7 pm, its time for dinner with my highschool buddies whom I havent seen more a while now. So basically I’ve been working every damn day…. I dont have a day off except Xmas day.. I’m working on Xmas Eve, Boxing Day, and New Years Eve. That should be fun..:yuck But its all worth it once that fat paycheck comes along. Not to mention the fact that I have to start owing the government cash due to student loans… I work hard to pay hard… Bleh that was gay… Oh well..

So Xmas wasnt as great as I expected it to be… I’ve always liked New Years way better. Xmas tends to be more fake? Perhaps. Obviously the best presents are the ones from my family like the Sex and the City Season 5 dvd because i asked for it and a leather purse from Danier Leather. Its real leather! So it costs alot more than the blender that I had given to my mom. Right I also got a Gift Certificate to a lingerie store from La Vie En Rose! I cant wait!

I’ve also been thinking of going to the salon to get a hair cut and dye my hair at the same time. I’m thinking blue streaks. Or perhaps red. I’m not sure yet. Blue maybe….

A miracle just happened a few seconds ago. I checked my mark and I got a C in Physics!!!!:hyper I’m so happy. I thought I would get around 50’s but I guess not!!! Math was a A- and Philosophy was a B-. Philosophy was also surprising considering how I got around 60’s in the tests which is a C? So maybe my essay was around B’s? Who knows? I dont care as long as i pass. Then tomorrow I’ll find out my next semester courses and plan out when I can and cannot work. So passing in Physics is probably one of the best Christmas presents I’ve received this year. I’m still in awe about that. :glasses

I didnt get a whole lot this year. Mostly cash except for a real leather purse from Danier Leather from my mom and the Sex and the City Season 5 dvd from my brother. That’s it nothing much I guess.:bigmouth
