The book that was found.

I finally finished Whispers by Belva Plain. It’s about domestic violence in a family. The ending was a little dull but at least it was a good ending. I’m never really content with a non-happy ending.. So yeah I didnt even buy the book, I had found it in the subway and decided ‘Hey why not?! It wouldnt hurt reading some random book.’

Have you ever sent something in the mail that you really really have to make sure that the receiver receives the mail? I just send one right now. This document is so important that if the receiver doesnt get it, I’ll be so upset. I didnt have to pay to send it but still. It’s too important that it cannot get lost in the mail!

Happy Fathers Day weekend everyone! 8-)

Hmm… Like happy endings too… otherwise you just feel… like… meh. Lol. I don’t know how to describe it but it’s just so unsatisfying. I hate buying books but heck, if we had a subway and I found a book there, I would probably read it too :P It sounds like quite an interesting book anyhow… perhaps I’ll check it out sometime :)

I never really worry about mail. But on saying that, I dont really send any mail to anyone, lol. I guess the possibility of it never arriving is just one of the risks you take when you send mail.

    It’s fathers day? :???:

I’ve never heard of this novel, but then I don’t read much anyways.

I know how you feel about sending something in the mail with a time limit and praying it doesn’t get lost. :yikes:

You found that book in the subway? Haha.. I would probably pick it up and read it too though. I never heard of that book though.. I don’t always like happy ending.. cause it just seems too unreal, but I guess when you read a book, you want drift off from the real world.

I should of read your blog on Father’s Day.. cause I completely forgot, ..yeah woops. I guess I’ll just get my dad a belated fathers day gift.
