Ryerson has it out against me.

Today I had a day off from my job so I went to my university to deal with my financial issues. They’re charging me around $3000 for tuition even though I’m not in school. $2500 for this winter. I am working this winter so I dont understand why I’m getting charged. The rest of the $1000 is my fault and I dont blame them for that. I dont really check my email and thats what happened.I have no choice but to pay that $39 interest, $750 coop charge and $300-ish health plan that I dont really since I already have insurance from my dad. So yeah the school really has it bad for me for they keep charging me useless crap. The $2500 will have to be dealt with later on because apparently, I was suppose to drop those courses since I’m not going to be in school for the winter but really. I didnt have to do it for the fall why do I have to do it for the winter? I’m so pissed about that. They tell me this now? Ugh now I have to pray that the school does not charge me with interest since I havent pay that $2500.

omfg. That is so crap. I’m only 14 so I’m not really dealing with Uni fees atm but that is so bad. Charging you even though you’re not going to be there? I would be so annoyed. *stamps around angrily*

Hey! Sorry about the Firefox thing. :slant:
Erm, yeah, those movies are good for Halloween. The Omen wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be, but it’s still worth watching. Thanks for the comment!

Huh. I’m not really educated on post-secondary finances, so I don’t know what to say :P It’s good that you dealt with the problem now, though. Instead of waiting until later, I mean. I hope you get it all sorted out soon!

Similar things happened to me before. I had to pay the fee for a whole semester that I didn’t attend. It was my fault for not withdrawing earlier, though, so I couldn’t blame anyone else…

And probably not the best time to say, but that “pissed” smiley you pick for your current mood is very cute. :cupid:

Ugh. How can they charge you that much when you’re not even attending the winter semester? I don’t think they can do that, so hopefully it won’t go through. I wish you luck!!

That sucks that you’ve got to pay $2,500. It’s harsh! I hope you manage to pay it back and not have to pay interest on top!!

You’ve never heard the expression, “Will you read me like a book?” before? It’s a metaphor.

Gah. That sucks. That sucks HARD. I know how you feel, though, to some extent. For the next year I’ll be paying off about $1,300 in back doctors bills. Fun fun.

Seriously, I would fight that bill right away. If you’re not going to school for winter you shouldn’t have to pay. That’s ridiculous.

Oh wow that is crazy for school! I would contact the financial department and see what’s going on.
