Canadian Citizenship test
Finally took my citizenship test today at 10 45… Before the actual test, the instructors had to talk about procedures and what not. It took so long.. After long hours of studying, I wished I did the test as soon as I sat down but no they had to chit chat and inform us about instructions. It was really annoying. My friend told me that when he took his citizenship test, they told him whether he passed/failed as soon as he handed in the test. But in this case, they didnt. As soon as we finished the test, we handed it in without knowing whether we failed or passed. It doesnt matter really because I dont think I failed.. I’m just glad that I finally got this citizenship thing done and over with. On the other hand, my mom does not think she did so well. We will have to see I guess..
The one thing that I hate about this holiday is the fact that I lose so much money. The spending and buying presents is getting to me. I’m so running low on cash it’s getting so ridiculous.. I wish I dont have to buy anything but I dunno…. I hate shopping for someone else because I dont know what they really want. I dont know if they’ll like it… :slant:

Christmas present buying has eaten up a lot of my money, also. I’m practically dirtpoor! But I’ve just bought everyone giftcards to their favorite stores, since it’s easier for them to buy something that they want, whereas me buying something they don’t want/won’t ever use. I know it sounds like a cheap gift, but it lets them get what they want!

December is definitely the most expensive month of the year. And I totally know what you mean about the shopping for someone else. I find it hard enough finding presents for my own husband, much less people I know hardly as well as I know him. I really can’t wait for January to come around. ;P

Ahh, I know the money spending is ridiculous. Yanno what I do? My dad and stepmom are rich, so I wait till I come and visit them to do my Christmas shopping and I don’t have to spend a penny :grin: All I use with my own money is pay bills. Heh.

As for Christmas shopping I completely sympathize. It’s so much money to spend and alot of the time it’s so difficult to shop for people. (And you end up spending/wasting so much money on something they won’t like.)

Haha, when I took my College Entrance exams they were like that too, they kept talking about the instructions and whatnot.. I can’t do anything about it so I just waited for them to finish.
That’s the downcome about Christmas, dear.. We sometimes spend money in the wrong things, then when we have to buy presents, we realize we don’t have that much money anymore, hahaha.. Don’t worry, I suppose there is still a next time, right?
And yeah, shopping for some people can quite be a hassle sometimes cause we don’t know what they like.. mmm.. especially Boys! Unless you’re really close friends with them..

I just can’t stand shopping. Everyone was so crazy today, the day after Christmas. There were some good sales, but by the time I got there everything I wanted was gone! Buying foir people you know is hard. I usually just ask nice people behind the counters, and their suggestions are pretty good.
