If someone were to ask me what I did on Canada day, I would say “I went shopping”. I havent gone shopping for a while. I did go to the mall a few days back but I didnt shop. This time I did. It felt so damn good. I went to French Connection since they had a 75% sale which is huge. Normally I cant afford anything in there but this time because of this huge sale, I was able to afford 2 tshirts. :jump: Black shirt that states ‘Too Busy to Fcuk’ and white shirt that states ‘fcuk it’. I love it. The white one is kinda see-through though. :embarass: I’m not even sure if I could wear the shirts to work.. Oh well I’ll wear it to the Blue Jays on Sunday. Then I went to buy a pair of cargo pants on another store and a $10 skirt in Jacob Connexion. It was great. I love sales! lol Then tomorrow I’ll be going to the gym since it’s open tomorrow. Then I’m back to work again on Tuesday where we are going to lunch for a coworker who’s going to another country for her boyfriend… Which I dont agree on. I would never move out of the country for some guy who I have only been dating for a short while. Yeah I will not blog about that in here.. Only because she knows what I think.. I would never leave my family & friends behind for a guy who I’m moving with in another country if any or all of the conditions are true: a) I’ve only been dating him for less than 3 years. b) No ring is involved. c) No job is available for me in the new country. That means I will be depending & relying on the guy. I refuse to depend on the guy. Anyway that is the blog for the day.

Let me write (or type ) the day I got *drunk*
. On Sunday, we had a mid-season party at my work place. Everyone was suppose to have 2 drink tickets each and of course, for some odd reason, people always end up drinking more than 2 cups of alcohol :shhh: . There were only 3 choices: beer, wine or a vodka slushy. Vodka slushy which containted very little vodka so I didnt see the point of getting that. The first drink was white wine. I’ve never been a fan of red since it’s too strong. Then since I had a really low-tolerance in alcohol, I got typsy (already!) :embarass: . Then with my 2nd wine, I was more typsy then with my 3rd (I stole someone else’s ticket) I was borderline typsy / drunk. I can still remember 100% of what I did though. I did kinda walk all wobbly and 2 of my coworkers had to come with me when I was going home. Luckily I dont drive. But they came with me while I was in the subway & bus. They helped me cross the street and walked me to my block until I got home. Before that, during the party, when drunk I tend to say things that I dont normally say when sober. Even though most of the things I said were pure jokes, I would never say those things. But yeah, I didnt walk straight and I had to pee twice! Then during the bus ride home, I was so close to vomitting in the bus. The world was already spinning and the bus was doing many turns left & right. :bored: My coworkers were praying that I dont vomit. I just continued to drink my friends water bottle which helped alot. Then as soon as I came home (9 pm), I just passed out and slept. 9 pm is too early to sleep by the way. I woke up at 2 am and felt this huge headache and the world was still spinning. The next day, I had a headache but not as bad as the one in 2 am. It was fun though. I had fun though. That was one party I will never forget.

So I went salsa dancing for the first time last night. It was my friends 23rd birthday and she took us to a salsa club. I dont know how to salsa so I felt completely out of place. Like I didnt belong in here. It was really hot and tight since everyone was dancing. Guys in these clubs would just ask you to dance and they would not care if you dont know how to dance. 2 guys had asked me and each I told them that I dont know how to dance but they didnt mind and wanted to dance anyway. I guess all I had to do was shake my ass then that would be considered as salsa dancing! lol
The first guy was an energizer bunny and didnt seem to be tired after 5 songs. I got tired quick and didnt know how to tell him that I needed to rest. Then after that my friend and I sat down and rested since it was too tight. We both ended up chatting with a guy.
So that was my Saturday. The good news is I bought Sex and the City dvd’s for $20 each. I got seasons 3, 4, and 6 part 2. I already have 5 and 6 part 1. I have only season 2 left to get. ;P

So I bought the new HP book on Saturday when it came out. I’ve had 2 gift cards from Chapters for so long now that I thought they were expired. I thought maybe I should use one of them to buy the new HP book. I dont even know how much the gift cards are worth. So at 10 am, I went to Coles and asked the cashier how much they are worth. One was worth $20 and the other $45!
The $45 was definitely enough to buy the HP book. The book in total was $38 (with taxes & all). I was so happy! For those who have not finished the book & dont like spoilers, you should stop reading this entry now. :ashamed: I’ve been reading it lately and 3/4 of the book is kinda boring…. :bored: I remember the last HP books and every chapter ended with some suspense that you continue to read the next chapters. But this time it’s not. They do alot of travelling so it’s not really that exciting. But I still spend lots of hours not sleeping and reading the book. Therefore I am really tired due to the lack of sleep. I’ve been tired this past few days because of it and also the fact that I went to work last night.
I’m sure as soon as I am finished this book, I can go back to my regular normal routine of sleeping early (and not at 12 am). But once I got to the last quarter of the book, it got exciting… Alot of characters die… I should stop talking and putting spoilers in here. Argh..
