Salsa dancing

So I went salsa dancing for the first time last night. It was my friends 23rd birthday and she took us to a salsa club. I dont know how to salsa so I felt completely out of place. Like I didnt belong in here. It was really hot and tight since everyone was dancing. Guys in these clubs would just ask you to dance and they would not care if you dont know how to dance. 2 guys had asked me and each I told them that I dont know how to dance but they didnt mind and wanted to dance anyway. I guess all I had to do was shake my ass then that would be considered as salsa dancing! lol :lol: The first guy was an energizer bunny and didnt seem to be tired after 5 songs. I got tired quick and didnt know how to tell him that I needed to rest. Then after that my friend and I sat down and rested since it was too tight. We both ended up chatting with a guy.
So that was my Saturday. The good news is I bought Sex and the City dvd’s for $20 each. I got seasons 3, 4, and 6 part 2. I already have 5 and 6 part 1. I have only season 2 left to get. ;P

    Funny I was talking about salsa dance with my Mexican friend earlier today. He said it is lots of fun! I’d love to try at least once but never really got a chance yet. Did you sweat off a few pounds after? :-D

    Ihaven’t just moved to the UK been here 6 years and I spoke english where Im from anyway so I can write in proper snglish just choose not lol If anything my english got worst moving here with so many different slangs.

    Ooooh salsa lessons sound like fun! Yeah sometimes I feel out of place when I’m doing something completely unknown but I just don’t care lol. I just try to have fun anyway bc odds are you will never see those people again :grin:

    Salsa dancing? If I am not mistaken, it’s one of the most energetic dance where you have to move almost EVERY part of your body. lol. It’s really entertaining. I’m glad you had fun.

    I have always wanted to go salsa dancing and take lessons. It just looks like its a lot of fun. I love SATC!!! Did you hear about the movie they are making?!! I ordered HBO just so i could have SATC on on demand :heart:

    I’ve never gone salsa dancing – well actually dancing at all! I don’t think I would have the balls to even try – not too sure what my ass would look like shakin’ about all over the place! *laughs*
