Consequences of reading this new Harry Potter book

So I bought the new HP book on Saturday when it came out. I’ve had 2 gift cards from Chapters for so long now that I thought they were expired. I thought maybe I should use one of them to buy the new HP book. I dont even know how much the gift cards are worth. So at 10 am, I went to Coles and asked the cashier how much they are worth. One was worth $20 and the other $45! :excited: The $45 was definitely enough to buy the HP book. The book in total was $38 (with taxes & all). I was so happy! For those who have not finished the book & dont like spoilers, you should stop reading this entry now. :ashamed: I’ve been reading it lately and 3/4 of the book is kinda boring…. :bored: I remember the last HP books and every chapter ended with some suspense that you continue to read the next chapters. But this time it’s not. They do alot of travelling so it’s not really that exciting. But I still spend lots of hours not sleeping and reading the book. Therefore I am really tired due to the lack of sleep. I’ve been tired this past few days because of it and also the fact that I went to work last night. :tired: I’m sure as soon as I am finished this book, I can go back to my regular normal routine of sleeping early (and not at 12 am). But once I got to the last quarter of the book, it got exciting… Alot of characters die… I should stop talking and putting spoilers in here. Argh..

    I enjoyed HPDH a lot, I finished it the next day haha, I wasn’t disappointed, most of my own theories where right, but still I loved it, too bad it’s over..

    in my opinion, the book is pretty bad. you’d think since it’s the last of the harry potter installment, JK Rowling would have put a bit more effort into it. and the ending is so lame and leaves a lot of questions. you don’t feel fulfilled at all.

    That Harry Potter book is everywhere. *sigh* I’m not a fan of the books, or Harry Potter in general, although I do rather enjoy the movies. ^^ However, it was pretty awesome that your one gift card was worth more than enough to purchase the book. Yayness!

    I liked the book but I have to agree that some parts got kind of boring, especially when they were traveling through the woods and such. I couldn’t seem to put the book down either, even when I was getting a little bored through the traveling parts.

    I loved the book.
    it isn’t that interesting, but I still love it.
    The Epilogue is really bad, thank God JK’s going to write an HP enciclopedia.

    OMD its was $38 dang it was only about £8 here which is about $16 thats crazy lol
    Anyway I haven’t read the book nor did i read the last one btu I know what happens and how it ends ahah thats soo bad lol
    How you enjoy the ending of the book and get back to your normal routien lol
