The third call to HP.
Ah so my original plan was to continually call HP everyday until I get my laptop adapter in the mail. So my third call was today because last Monday they said that it would take about 2 business days for me to receive my adapter. I called them again saying the same old reference number so that they dont have to ask me for my name, phone number and laptop serial number. Then this time I got a lady. It was mostly guys I have spoken to about this. I informed her for the current situation. ‘I was suppose to get a laptop adapter on Monday but since I didnt they said that they would send one asap which would take about 2 business days. They said that but when I checked online for the status, the status was not updated. It wasnt shipped. Now when am I getting my adapter?’ She calmly informed me that I will be on hold while she finds more information. :sowhat: 2 minutes later… ‘Well it turns out that they have run out of stock of adapters. They will be sending you an email for a set date on when you will be receiving the adapter but it is likely that you will be getting it on Oct 29.’ So I’ll be getting it on Oct 29? Yes… so she says. She better be friggin accurate on this because if I dont get my adapter by Monday. I will be calling them again and this time I wont be so nice. I might just yell. :x
PS. It took me about 3 calls to find the reason why they havent sent me the adapter. The first 2 calls I got was with 2 guys who didnt even bother finding out why my adapter wasnt sent. At least with this lady that I spoke, she bothered to call them and ask why I didnt get it and gave me the reason that they ran out of stock. :irked: Typical men.
