ARgh!

So I had a 4 day weekend this weekend. I’m off on Thursdays so that helped alot. Alot of school crap was due last week and I’m just relieved that I get 4 days to “recuperate”. Now that I did that for the last 2 days, here I am on a Saturday trying to do work. Yes I do homework on a Saturday. I tried to do the programming assignment but the more I stared at C code, I got this fat headache. Frustration started pouring in. My mind was all boggled. Then I got too frustrated that I decided to do another assignment. Something less coding and easier to do. Unfortunately after ‘googling’ on how to find the answer for this one, I also again got all frustrated and annoyed. So no progress there as well. I got 2 days left to start on these projects and I’m not going anywhere… :banghead: I could always read… Then reading would just bore me to death… :x

    I hope you are able to get everything done. I know how it is when you get frustrated or overwhelmed and end up getting nowhere on something.

    I do enjoy reading as long as the material I’m reading is interesting or good. lol :P

    I took a course in C++ back in high school… I *loathed* it with a passion! I guess I was expecting something different… oh well. I’d love to learn Java, though :P

    LOL. If I was going to school I would do homework everyday. So don’t feel bad about doing homework on a Saturday. Hopefully you’ll get ahead and stay ahead.

    You’re so lucky to have a 4 day weekend. I wish I can always have Thursdays and Fridays off but I can’t because I got work. If you’re at a block, just let the mind relax, and the ideas and answers will come to you. If you don’t want to read, why not try to find an audio version to it?

    Ahh I know what you mean, staring a code can give me a huge headache some time~ Calculus as well. Sometimes I just gotta move on to something else. I hope everything works out for you eventually. :flow: pretty flower :D

    In response to the question you asked on pink-robots.com, only one scholarship per year is given to UCL students, to my knowledge. I’m not sure where you’re writing from, but generally UK universities only grant scholarships to poorer students, with a lot of potential. Since I’m within the threshold for affording my university fees, they won’t be giving me a scholarship. :P

    It’s extremely rare for anyone to receive scholarships here, no matter how little money they have or how much they deserve it.

    I just got back from a much needed spring break as well… the days before we got off were filled with teachers scrambling to assign as much as possible; it was awful :( I haven’t worked with C code, but I’m learning Java and I think they’re pretty much the same. Coding is sometimes such a hassle because you really do have to have the right mentality for it at the time; sometimes I’m able and others not so much :(
