I'm not sure where you're writing from, but generally UK universities only grant scholarships to poorer students, with a lot of potential. Since I'm within the threshold for affording my university fees, they won't be giving me a scholarship. :P It's extremely rare for anyone to receive scholarships here, no matter how little money they have or how much they deserve it.
