New WordPress

I just upgraded my wordpress to 2.7. I like the new look but I didnt really see anything wrong with the previous theme. One of the things that I like is the quick post that appears in the dashboard. There are some things that I’m not sure what their uses are like the ‘Turbo’ at the right top corner. Anyway on a more depressing note, I dont know about you but I’m extremely paranoid that I might not get a job when I graduate in 2009 because of this horrible economy. All these people are losing their jobs that it would be stupid of me to think that theyre willing to hire a newbie. I am just lucky that I have a fall back job when my current one ends at the end of the school in 2009 (it’s contract). But honestly, I am willing to stay in this job even if it’s just part time. I’m going to continue to search for jobs but the only thing that I hate is the interviews and the fixing of the cover letter & resume. :rude: Sucks….

    Speaking of ppl losing their job, I can’t help being paranoid as well. You see the research institute I work at, our main income comes from one of the biggest trust fund in the UK, but still, what if that day comes, when ppl do not donate $$$ anymore? That’s when I’m out of this job.

    Oh well, I’ll enjoy when it lasts. :-)

    I am also a paranoid when it comes to jobs and updating CV. Moreover I do not have enough work experience to highlight on my CV. I’ve heard from few of my friends to get advice from CV advisers and it really works. I haven’t given it a shot yet as I am not sure if it really works. However, I found this free CV service http://www.topemployers.co.uk/graduate-cv-help.html but I wonder why would anyone do a good job for free? Can you give me some advice plz? :?
