Here’s a review of one of my favourite moisturizers: Complex 15 Daily Face Cream. I honestly didnt have high expectations of this product because it’s just basically a generic drug store moisturizer. But I’m down to my second tube and I am loving this moisturizer. It’s very light, has no smell and has not broken me out yet. Even when I was breaking out two years ago due to hormones, I used this moisturizer. It’s not very moisturizing if you have very dry skin which was the case when I was on Accutane. I had to stop using this because my skin got very dry to the point where I had to use a thicker moisturizer.
According to the tube, it is Oil free, Lanolin free, hypoallergenic and non-comedegenic. For those who are not sure what non-comedegenic means. Products that have non-comedegenic displayed on the product means that it will not clog up your pores therefore will not break you out. It definitely is oil-free and has a matte finish to it. I use this product at night after I put on my serum.
Ingredients:
water, caprylic/capric triglyceride, glycerin, squalane, glyceryl stearate, propylene glycol, Peg-40 stearate, cetyl alcohol, dimethicone, glycol stearate, myristyl myristate, stearic acid, carbomer, magnesium aluminum silicate, diazolidinyl urea, lecithin, sodium hydroxide, c10-30 cholesterol/lanosterol esters, bht, tetrasodium edta
I will continue this product as long as they continue to sell it in my drugstore. It’s definitely something I would recommend for those who are looking for a light moisturizer.
