So I own quite a few primers in my stash and this primer has got to be one of the worst ones out there. I purchased this when I was in my ‘dry zone’ during my Accutane months. As far as I know, I am disappointed with this primer. I’ve been using it for a month now and yes, it’s hydrating but not the way I want it to. First of all, when I opened this for the first time, water started spewing out! Maybe I got an old/expired product? I know it’s suppose to be hydrating but I didnt realize it was hydrating like water must come out. So I came to a conclusion that this product is mostly water. Low and behold, the first ingredient is water. Nothing wrong with that. But if water is the first thing that comes out when I first open the product, that’s a big no-no.
I’m still expecting that primer to keep my make up together, force my make up to last longer and all that fun stuff. I dont even think it made any difference on how long my make up lasted. I might as well not use a primer at all. Anyway, the only good thing about this is that there is no smell. I dont think I’ll be buying again. I might try the other primers from Laura Mercier but I wont be buying this one.
