So it turns out that a friend of mine who has been studying Law in England is coming back to Canada. Not sure yet how long but I’m very psyched about this. Why?! I havent seen her in a year! She’s leaving England on Wednesday so thats going to be super exciting.

On to other news, I bought Smirnoff Vodka Mojito last week to try it out. It sucks. Dont ever buy it! If youre into minty mojitos, then yes buy it. Otherwise no. I havent even gotten to half of the bottle and already I wanna pour it down the drain. I did buy Mudslide though which is really really good! This is what happens when you want to try “new” things. You get screwed over…

This month has been so crappy so far. Other than my mom & sister not being home for 3 weeks because of a funeral, I also have to go to a funeral myself. I didnt know my uncle died of cancer until last night. I’ve been juggling the 2 jobs I have that nobody has even bothered to tell me. He was diagnosed of cancer a few months ago and I didnt think he would die. I had an aunt who had breast cancer and she survived. Unfortunately, he didnt. I thought he would survive just like her unfortunately he didnt. Now I had to skip one of my jobs today and tomorrow to attend the funeral. It’s funny how life takes a turn like that. My mom had to leave the country for a family funeral and little did I know, I would be going to one a few weeks later. I havent been to a funeral in so long. I remember when I was still in highschool where I would constantly attend a funeral every year. It was like a yearly routine. Then it stopped for a few weeks and now I’m back to the funeral home again. He was only around 40 years old. That’s pretty young…

Very rarely do I ever blog about my family in here since it’s kinda personal and I don’t want the interweb to know about that kinda stuff but this time I think it’s going to be different. I was ready to sleep since I have to wake up early tomorrow when my mom called me in my cell phone (she works night shifts) and informed that she’s going to our home country. Her brother died there so she has to attend the funeral. She didnt attend her mom’s death a few years ago since we didnt have any money and I think this time it’s about time she go there. She said she’ll be gone this Friday for 3 weeks!!!!! :eek: That shocked me. I didnt think she’d be gone that long. She’s never been away from us this far (another country) let alone this long (3 weeks). I’m depressed already since she’s going to be taking away my sister who’s almost 5 years old. She invited me to come along with her but I just started this new job today and being away in 3 weeks does not look good on my part. I’ll definitely miss my sister since she makes me smile when I’m done. I love our fun times when I would purposely tickle her until she begged me to stop. The 3 weeks that they wont be here will make the house smaller.. No one will be cooking for dinner/lunch anymore. I cant cook so I guess I’ll have to start to cook simple stuff which I’ll eventually get sick over. This is so going to suck. They leave this Friday and I leave for work at 7 am so I hope I’ll have the time to say good bye and give my sister a long and lasting hug and kiss. I’ll definitely miss her tantrums and the fact that she’s now taken a liking to Sailor Moon (I got her all hooked up lol). When my mom and I discussed going back to our country, we’ve always wanted to go together… But not this time. The timing is just not right. I told her to bring my camera so she can take lots of pics sans funeral, of course. I’ll be so down tomorrow it’s ridiculous. Ah this really sucks..

My mother often buys deserts from a certain Filipino store where they also make the deserts. She bought a vanilla cake today and while she was reading the package label, it stated on the label ‘Best before 12/27/07′. She got upset and decided to call the phone number on the label and complain to the company. She said that they shouldn’t be selling expired food. She just bought them today and they should not have been on sale. She also said that she’s going to stop by tomorrow and if she sees anymore expired items, she’ll be calling the Ministry of Health. Then she hung up. She didnt even get rid of the desert. I guess it’s a good idea to keep the evidence in case we have to go to court for food poisoning… :look:

So I just wanted to say Happy Holidays to everyone and to those who dont celebrate Xmas. Since yesterday I’ve been spending my time watching the first and second season of Oz. Ever since I bought the dvd’s I haven thad time to watch them until now. What a great way to kill time until school starts once again on Jan 7. :embarass: So thats that. I really should be doing some ‘work’ but I have been lazying around and doing nothing. Tomorrow is Boxing day (if you live in Canada). It’s where all the stores put their items on sale right after Xmas. I know the mall is going to be so packed I wont even bother going. I might go a few days later where there’s less people. That also means less items on sale. I really want to buy more RAM which is on sale for less then $50. But I’m so afraid it’ll be so hectic I wont be able to buy it. So I think I’m just going to head to the gym since I havent been there in months! Theyre charging me $30+ and I’m not even going as often as I used to. Not to mention the fact that I’ll be gaining a lot of weight due to the holiday food I’ve been stuffing my face in. So yeah thats just one small blog update.

So today my sister, mom and I went to the Toronto Zoo. I was so hyped since I’ve never been to the zoo. I went crazy and took loads of photos. It was so hot like 34 C today and the weather network thought it was going to rain. :???: But really I thought we needed some rain or some cool air since it was so muggy. Thank goodness we had sunscreen on. Alot of walking was involved so I was prepared for that. We did had some breaks a few times. Ate overpriced junk food then continued to see more animals. I admit I enjoyed it more than my sister. She wanted to leave half way through and we haven’t even seen half of the animals. We didn’t get to see all of them since we would have to walk way far and our feet were aching plus the heat was getting to us. I kept asking the food place for some cup of ice so I could chew them. :rude: I love chewing on ice cubes. I wish they had the polar bear though and more fishes. I guess since it was so hot, they didn’t let out the polar bear since they are more used to cooler weathers. :smile: An example of what we saw can be seen above. More photos can be seen in here.

You see that entry below marked as ‘Not Trustworthy’. Well it worked out for the best 2 days ago. And I’m so glad it did otherwise it wouldve ruined my weekend and *his* weekend.. 8-) Now I am still struggling with this stupid report that I have been slacking off for so long. I will write whatever it is that I have to write and I will end up editing it tomorrow during work. Then hopefully I wont have to worry about it for a week or so until I have to write the second one.

So today I decided to go to the grocery and buy myself some fruits to last for the week. The grocery store is walking distance away so I took my sister with me. Unfortunately the apples was pretty crappy. It was not green enough for me. I like them really really green. I dont eat red apples because they taste like ’sand’. lol :ashamed: These ones were light green with some yellow-ish color. I had no choice so I bought 4. Hopefully they taste ok. It’s like what they say “Dont judge a book by its color”. But this time it’s “Dont judge an apple by its color”. I also bought some apricots which looked good surprisingly.. I have yet to taste both fruits lol. I’m sure while I was with my 3 year old sister, people thought she was my daughter. After all, we do have this huge difference. I’m 22 she’s 3. She could be my daughter according to some people. According to my dad, we do look alike. I really think she looks alot like my younger bro when he was young but a female version. I dont really care though. I dont get offended if they think she’s my kid. Haha!

No one in my family has ever gotten a cast ever until today. I got a call from my mom at work stating that she wont be able to pick me up since she’s at the hospital. Due to the bad weather conditions in Toronto, my dad who was walking to work, slipped and slammed his wrist on the cement. The sidewalk that he was walking on was not shovelled so he slipped. There was a man who was driving who saw it all happened and offered to take him to the hospital. But luckily the area was just walking distance away from where we lived so my dad just said no and walked back to our house. Then my mom had to take him to the hospital. I’m guessing they were in the hospital for 3+ hours. They didnt get home until around 6:30 to 7 pm. My mom wont be going to work as planned tonight since she didnt get much sleep in the day. Her friends were calling her to see what was up since she normally carpools them to work. My dad came with with a cast on his left arm. He has to keep it that way for 6 weeks. It looks bad.. Like painful bad. I dont know… like I said, none of us has ever had a cast done ever. I’m not sure what to say but I’m glad he is ok. I am still unsure whether he’ll be going to work. One thing I know is that since he’s left-handed he wont be able to write…. :no:

Finally took my citizenship test today at 10 45… Before the actual test, the instructors had to talk about procedures and what not. It took so long.. After long hours of studying, I wished I did the test as soon as I sat down but no they had to chit chat and inform us about instructions. It was really annoying. My friend told me that when he took his citizenship test, they told him whether he passed/failed as soon as he handed in the test. But in this case, they didnt. As soon as we finished the test, we handed it in without knowing whether we failed or passed. It doesnt matter really because I dont think I failed.. I’m just glad that I finally got this citizenship thing done and over with. On the other hand, my mom does not think she did so well. We will have to see I guess..

The one thing that I hate about this holiday is the fact that I lose so much money. The spending and buying presents is getting to me. I’m so running low on cash it’s getting so ridiculous.. I wish I dont have to buy anything but I dunno…. I hate shopping for someone else because I dont know what they really want. I dont know if they’ll like it… :slant:

My mother actually called those internet ads that says ‘Click here to win $1000!!’. You know what I’m talking about. Those banners that are placed in websites and it’s blinking.. She actually called the phone number thinking that she’d win the $1000. Yes my mom doesnt really use the internet like me. She doesnt even know how to check her email. She has like so many emails because she keeps signing up for she always loses her password or she doesnt check her emails that it becomes deactivated… Yeah so when she does check her emails, I worry that she might end up opening an email that has a virus on it. When I check my email, I dont open forwards because I’m paranoid that they have virus attached on them. Then now I cant even monitor it when she’s opening her emails and they have this funny videos attached. :slant: Yeah so she got so excited when someone actually picked up so that she can claim her prize… :ashamed: But it turns out it was a trip in Florida that they were offering. She sounded so disappointed on the phone because she really wanted the cash… You cant even claim the prize because you have to be a citizen and I think American.. Then when she hung up, I told her that it was all a scam and that to not fall for it again… :grin:

Right so we got these 2 goldfish in the house. It was given by my aunt. We still dont have a name for it. It’s a black and a orange-white one. The black one is particularly really fat. He/she likes to eat. lol. The orange one doesnt eat alot. Today my mom changed the water and I dont know how thats gonna be like since its the first time we are changing the water ourselves. I added some liquid which get rids of the chlorine and I hope I put enough. I really dont want them dying anytime soon. I dont think the orange one likes the new water. For a moment there, it was just float at the top not doing anything. I’ve been taking pics of it but they keep on moving that I cant get a decent non-blurry shot. If anyone has any ideas on goldfish names, suggest it here. Also I dont know if theyre male/female. I’m sure theyre both the same sex otherwise they wouldve mated by now.

So yours truly did not work tonight because I had to attend my brother’s graduation night. Technically he did not graduate highschool because he is missing a credit but the school allowed him to attend the ceremony since he was only missing 1 credit. He did pay for it already. So that was alright. Thank goodness I brought my mp3 player with me because I did not feel like listening to the speeches and the names of people being called out before my brother. Our last name starts with V and with 200+ students we had a long way to go in waiting. So I listened to my mp3 player while waiting. I just wanted to say that their valedictorian was this guy who did not win a single awards. Arent valedictorials suppose to win awards? My brother even said that people voted for him to be a valedictorial because he was popular and everyone liked him.. :rude: Popularity sucks.. Dont vote for someone as your valedictorian because the person is popular. The guy is suppose to represent the entire graduating class of 2006 yet I’ve heard that he’s into drugs.. How horrible is that?

So after the graduation, we wanted to go to a restaurant to eat but it was past 9 pm and most restaurants are already closed. :sad: Thankfully there was one left which closes at 10:30 but we couldnt eat for only 1 hour so we just had take out… So I guess that was my night. Good night all.

Right so we went to the Chinese market this morning to buy rice and some lunch. It was me, my sister and my mom. Then as we were about to buy lunch some photographer approached us and asked to take a pic of my sister. He works for the newspaper Toronto Sun. He said the picture is for an article thats going to be posted on May 13 in the Toronto Sun about Chinese stores. But we’re not Chinese. He said that was okay. He just wants candids of my sis since he saw her skipping. He asked for her first name and age. My mom didnt want the last name to be in the paper since she’s a bit.. paranoid… Right so I felt sorry for the guy since he was a legit photographer. He had his ID with him. He was also the photographer for the Toronto Blue Jays (I work for them), Toronto Maple Leafs (hockey team) & Toronto Raptors (basketball team). So it’s not like he was some stranger guy with a camera. But since my sister is kinda shy, she was just walking and he was taking pics of her. Just her. I was in the background.. Maybe my leg not my face. lol Then finally he left.. My mom was definitely uncomfortable about it since she said that he might be one of those pornographers… lol He had proper ID he couldnt have been a pornographer.. lol Anyway so yeah we will have to see if he does put her pic in the paper in May 13. I will scan and show it off in here.. ;P

So finally I went to the doctors today.. My mother suggested it.. She said I’ve been sick too long. It was a week of cold and now another of cough. I guess it’s been a long time.. I never shouldve went out yesterday with my sister to the park then maybe I never wouldve gotten this cough. It’s the change of weather. Allergies.. Bleh.. So yeah I have a new family doctor since we moved last year. It’s near the house so it’s good. The doctor had told me to buy a puffer for this cough. I hope it helps me out because last night I couldnt sleep properly since I was coughing & I couldnt exactly breathe.. :ashamed: The puffer was too expensive but luckily we have insurance. I’ve never had to use a puffer before until today.. I dont have asthma so having a puffer is something new… I’m curious as to what it’s made of because smoke comes out of it.. maybe not smoke but some vapor that looks like smoke..

So last night I went out with my highschool girlfriends who I dont see often because of school. We are busy girls and it’s tough when you dont see them all the time like you used to. Had dinner.. We did wanted to do something after but there was nothing in the area. :slant: We’re also planning another outting before school starts but not to be pessimistic and all but I doubt it’ll happen. Planning last night was already hard enough… I will post photos maybe later on.. But you know me, it takes me months to update the gallery even though I have loads of photos lying around in my hard drive.

So apparently the school had accidentally posted the final marks before the official release date 2 nights ago. It was online for 40 minutes then took it down since it wasnt the official date. I didnt know about this but one of my friends buddies just happened to go online and saw that her marks were posted…. :weeping: Too bad I didnt know of this earlier.. Not that I wanted my marks before Xmas but I just wanted to know if I passed my communication class… I know that will hurt my GPA like there is no tomorrow

So there’s a friendly neighbor guy thats been snow blowing people’s driveways. It snowed heavily last night and today he just took his snow blower and noticed that the house in front of us hasnt shovelled so he went over and started snow blowing the house. It’s not even his house yet he was so nice and did it anyway. :grin: Right next door was a person shovelling.. After the friendly neighbour guy did the house, he went right over to help the person shovelling.. That is pretty awesome. I dont know if he does this every winter since we just moved in the neighbourhood this year but if we were still living in our old neighbourhood, nobody would snow blow/shover your snow.. Ever! :rude: That was very nice of him though. I thought that maybe he just liked using his snow blower. It wasnt cold outside so people couldve just shovelled easily. The first house he did, the engine of the car on the driveway was constantly running since 8:30 am up to around 12 pm. Again since he’s a nice guy and everything, he knocked on the door and checked if the owner of the car knew that his car engine was running. No answer. The second time he did, he noticed that the car was open. A normal person wouldve stolen the car right there but he didnt. He just turned it off. Imagine a car engine on that entire time.. Thats like endagering the environment!!! :no: Then he knocked again and noticed that the door wasnt locked, he went in and saw that the guy was lying down and he was piss ass drunk!! Crazy.. Again very nice gentleman.. My parents even joked how they should talk to him and ask him to shovel the snow on our driveway next time theres a snow storm.

So my mom put up the Xmas tree in the living room. The theme was going to be blue but blue and dark green (color of the tree) doesnt really match. I think if the tree was white then blue would go with it. So she returned it and bought a gold version. She already had silver decorations and now she has gold to go with it. So the theme this year is silver and gold. I was sitting in front of the tree just admiring the colorful lights and the shiny balls then I look closer and what do I see.. Paperclips! She used paperclips to attach the silver and gold balls in the tree. It is so ghetto! I had to laugh.. It’s like everytime I look at the tree all I see is the paperclips! I havent had a chance to take photos of it. Maybe when no ones around I will… One more exam to go which I know I’m going to fail it.. I hate digital circuits… :banghead:

Happy Halloween everyone! My sister went on her first Halloween tonight. She dressed up as a dalmatian. You can see previews below and click on the photo to see the larger size. The gallery is a bit ugly since I havent had the chance to create a temple so I just downloaded a free one from the 4images homepage. As you can see she looks so damn cute! I didnt take alot of photos since she went trick or treating and I had to give out candies. There are more kids here in my neighbourhood compared to my old neighbourhood which is unexpected since we ran out of candies before 7 pm. Oh well. I hid a stash of M&M minis in my room. Nobody needs to know that. They are just so damn addictive.

So last Saturday was the moving day. It started in 9 am and probably ended around 4 pm – ish. There are still boxes and bags in the house and somethings arent set up properly like the internet, cable and some bedrooms. Im still not used to the fact that I’m sleeping in a new house, new room (without a door).. :banghead: I did alot of non-internet related homework in the weekend so that was great. It was a way of catching up on some homework and such.

Sunday was Thanksgiving party in my aunts house. They also got a new house. It’s so much bigger than their old house. I liked it. Yesterday was the actual Thanksgiving holiday so I had no school. Again, did homework.. Boringness. It’s tough not having tv and internet all at the same time. I had to rely on my radio and watching vhs & dvd. My sister was pretty bored when the tv didnt work but luckily we had Dora the Explorer & Barney on vhs. Then you get kinda sick of watching the same old vhs.. :freak:

I had to get used to the new location today and try to time how long it takes me to get to school during rush hour. I didnt know I would get there so early… Again I still feel like a stranger to the neighbourhood, the train ride and the house…. I hope to get used to this soon.. Before the winter..

So finally my site is up since it’s been down for 4 days during the last 4 days of August because of bandwidth issues. I never thought this would happen ever but oh well. I hope it doesnt happen this month. Also 4 more days until school starts. 4 more days until I lose some bloody sleep. :sowhat: I’m so not looking forward to those days.

On a good note, my parents found a house. Yes, I’m moving. I’ve lived in this house ever since I came to Canada and I dont want to leave it. It’s not the best house in the world but I’m content in here. I wish I had a scanner so I can show you all what the new house looks like. I’ve only seen the outside part but not the inside. But the main thing that I like about it is the pool table. :wink: Yes… It has a pool table.. Isnt that the coolest thing?!!! :jump: I’ve never really been the greatest player when it comes to pool but now I can practice and maybe be better at it. There’s also a bar table on the basement and all. When I see the house, I will post photos and everyone can see it. :grin:

Just a warning though, my digital camera doesnt have a voice recorder or anything so there’s no sounds in these videos. The first and last are my cousins playing Dance Dance Revolution with a guy who happens to be very and I mean VERY good at the game. I didnt think my cousins would have the guts to go against the guy but he did. He didnt win but it’s alright. At least he tried. It was fun watching them go against each other and other people were cheering for them. The middle video is just the fireworks that we saw. Again, it would be better if there were sounds but no there isnt…

Tomorrow’s my sister 2nd birthday but we’re celebrating it today. I do plan on uploading all photos soon including the past photos that I had to remove. I’ve been too lazy to put them up but since I now know how to do a batch upload in 4images, it should be in no time.

Nothing much is going on except for work. Something tells me I’m suppose to get a letter from school in regards to tuition and stuff. I havent gotten any at all. Not that I’m looking forward to school but I dont want to be charged extra late fees for not paying the damn tuition early. :no:

So today was the last test not the last exam.. Those are next… The test was alright not too hard or easy. But what makes me angry is the part where after the test, I have to stay later in the school because my partner and I have to work on the same Java assignment that’s torturing both of us. It wasnt my idea to do this on a Friday night. I would rather do something more productive than do some stupid assignment on Friday. I suggested to him a day before that we work on it on Saturday the whole day because I know that we will get alot of things done. But since he has other things on Saturday then we’ll just do it on Friday night after the test where I am tired… :irked:

Unfortunately once we tried working on it, he didnt have alot of progress on the assignment. The file that I sent him to work on it was working fine… It was alot more progress that what he showed me tonight. I couldnt fix his file so I decided to work on my copy instead. Mind you this is both of our assignments but my copy was way better. Instead of working on it as a team, I had to work on it myself while he goes off and talks to his buddies. :sowhat: That didnt make me happy. I know I didnt contribute alot on this assignment but when I am, he goes off to lala land. So I left.. I didnt say bye to him or whatever.. Why would I want to stay if I’m just going to work on it alone? I dont care if I dont finish this assignment. I hate it. I am willing to risk losing that 10%.

So I finally have my day off tomorrow which I’m going to spend shopping with my mom and sis. I havent had a day off for more than 2 weeks. Been working since I finished school for the holidays. Yet I’m waiting for that fat paycheck to come in next year so I could pay my bills (and the govt). I’m also excited for the new semester. I hope to see the same people I’ve grown to like last semester. I dont want to have to meet new people (again!). I’m such an antisocial person… lol. :paperbag

I have a hair appointment this monday. I’m cutting my hair and dying it. Streaks but I’m not sure of the colour. All I know is that it will only be $39.99 Canadian which isnt too bad I guess. :look

So Xmas wasnt as great as I expected it to be… I’ve always liked New Years way better. Xmas tends to be more fake? Perhaps. Obviously the best presents are the ones from my family like the Sex and the City Season 5 dvd because i asked for it and a leather purse from Danier Leather. Its real leather! So it costs alot more than the blender that I had given to my mom. Right I also got a Gift Certificate to a lingerie store from La Vie En Rose! I cant wait!

I’ve also been thinking of going to the salon to get a hair cut and dye my hair at the same time. I’m thinking blue streaks. Or perhaps red. I’m not sure yet. Blue maybe….

Is it me or is communication through email or messengers just isnt enough? Let me type that another way. Is it me or is email and instant messengers not an effective tool for communicating to people these days? :irked That’s practically why a friend of mine is ticked off that another friend isnt emailing back to us. I told her that maybe she hasnt read the email. This isnt the first time that this girl hasnt emailed us back. This emailing thing is apparently very important for we are planning on meeting on the 22nd for a get-together. We haven seen each other for a while now so this holiday is a plan to see each other and have dinner before one of us goes to England as a foreign exchange student. :no You can call it jealousy or whatever but I dont want her to go. I’m not jealous but I will miss her terribly….:weeping She’s going to be there from January to April which sucks. Thats such a long time… If this dinner thing on the 22nd doesnt happen, I want to take her out to lunch or something before she leaves. She did take me out on my birthday to this Thai restaurant and the food there is awesome. So I might take her there considering how I rarely go to restaurants. I will miss her.. :hug

So my mom, Denise and I went to Costco (sp?) today and went shopping. At first i thought that I was only going to buy this glitter pens for sale (only $6) but as soon as I walked arouond I ended up buying more stuff. I bought the new Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azakaban movie, printer paper, fruitcups and the glitter pens. The fruit cup is for healthy reasons. I really want to start eating healthy now that I’ve grown to have an ass (ie I’m gaining weight especially in that area). I rarely eat fruits everyday so I think this is an awesome thing to buy. The paper because I have an essay to write soon and I dont have the regular size but I did have the legal size (the longer one). I had to use the legal size for my formal lab and cut the bottom which was pure ghetto considering how it wasnt even a good job of cutting. The HP dvd because I wanted to see it. It was pretty expensive but oh well. I rarely buy dvd’s anyway. :glasses

Aside from that I’ve been doing alot of bumming around mostly because I got the whole weekend off! :hyper I dont get to work until Tuesday so thats awesome. I really should start my Philosophy essay but I still have to finish reading the book though. Anyway thats about it right now. I have some fanlistings for adoption if anyone is interested. So my essay on auteurism of Anthony Mann is due tomorrow. It has to be a minimum of 8 pages. I always find it difficult writing long essays. My essays usually last about 5 to 6 pages depending on the topic. But I hope I can make a longer one for this one. I dont use “professional” words in my essays because to me, its like I’m bullshitting. I basically use regular words that a normal person would say. :bigmouth

Aside from that my sister turned 1 on Saturday. We went to a Chinese Restaurant. I ate right away because I have been craving sushi for the whole week. Yumm…:winktongue Then I got real full so I couldnt eat alot. Pictures will be posted in the photos section after this entry.

Finally my week of constant working is done. Then 5 days of break but I have school during those breaks though which isnt too bad because I have things to do while I’m in school. Then back to work this Friday.

So as I was walking to work today, I remembered putting a $20 bill under the register keyboard. That was the missing money that we had yesterday. We were short $17.50 and now that I found it, I was so damn relieved. :hyper I left a note to my boss stating that that $$ is for the shortage on Saturday. Other than that work today wasnt at all that bad, I got to do some of my reading during work. I have been doing that alot lately. Since the store isnt really that busy, I bring my books and I read. :read lol I’m such a bloody dork. :bigmouth oh well…. I gotta make some sacrifices if I really want to increase my GPA….

Today my mom went to work for the first time since last year when she was in maternity leave because of my sister. It was different now that she didnt drive me home from work. It will be even more different now that I have to do more babysitting when she does her night shifts. That means that I wont be able to do alot of homework and more reading during work… :rude Oh well.. sacrifices…

I will be adding more photos in the gallery… The reason why there isnt alot or any photos of me is because I hate taking pics of myself and I’m not exactly photogenic or anything. I will put my pics though but not right now. :bigmouth

I did get a new digital camera. I will be posting the pictures that I’ve taken in the images section. It’s not uploaded yet. I will post the updates here. I’m pretty excited about it. The only thing that I dont like about it is the battery runs out pretty quick and the camera gets really hot :hot if you are using it too much. Speaking of hot, today is Canada Day :bigmouth. My family and I went to this park in Pickering and the weather was so freaking hot…. :hot The weather channel stated that theres a slight chance of rain and thuderstorms but the sun was shining the whole day! :smile We went to the lake which was nearby the park.. It was pretty cool considering how the lake is right next to the Pickering Power Plant :look The water is probably contaminated or something…. lol It did smell pretty bad because it is from a lake… I’m not sure whether it’s from Lake Ontario or something… But it was cool because you can feel the breeze going through… My cousins were also playing soccer and volleyball. I wanted to play but I wore sandals instead of running shoes… :sowhat I wanted to play so badly… But oh well.. Maybe next time :smile. Thats all the blog right now. Once my camera’s battery is charged, I will post the pics from the party including the modelling pictures that I took of my cousins. :winktongue

I have been wanting a digital camera for quite some time now and I havent really thought of what to buy considering how I know nothing about cameras. Anyway today when I was sitting in the kitchen playing with my baby sister, my mom mentioned that I should get one today. I told her I’ve been wanting to but I just dont have the time yet… Then she said lets go today.. I definitely agreed considering how she would also drive me to Futureshop :bigmouth So yeah after I eat my lunch we’re going to be and pick out a cool one. :sly I will let you know how it looks… I’m getting rather excited though.. :hyper

My mom was not very happy when she called Fido about changing my cell phone plans today. She got my second bill on the cell phone and it was only around $12. Not bad except for the fact that the plan has no voicemail and call display. Because of that I now have to change myplan to pre-paid. I did have pre-paid before and I liked it way better than those monthly plans. One of the reasons is I despise getting bills every damn month. So I would rather pay before calling people. I admit I do not use my cellphone alot because I’m not really the type of person who talks on the phone alot but when I need a call display and a voicemail thats very important to me. Anyway my mom was bitching to fido because now that I want to switch back to prepaid I now have to pay an extra charge of $25 just to change it. Before when Fido called to offer to change it to montly, the person in Fido stated that there wouldnt be any fees if I wanted to change back to prepaid. Obviously they were either lying or my mom just misheard the person in the phone. Either way, its a total rip-off. My mom has been a customer of Fido for more than 2 years now and we’ve been totally loyal to them by not trading our Fido phone for a Rogers or a Bell one. I have been totally tempted to trade it in the past. :slant Anywho, now I gotta get myself a new Fido pre-paid phone card tomorrow before work and set up my voice mail all over again. And I hate thinking of voice mail messages. :rude

Anyway just be careful of hidden costs people. Make sure you read those tiny prints even though this one didnt have any. :smile
