oh gerl!

I’m so annoyed today. Last week I purchased my first ever smart phone. I’m not one to talk on the phone alot but I was convinced because my regular phone tends to turn off all by itself. So before it dies I decided to get a Palm Pre. So I got this “good” deal from the store with unlimited txt, unlimited talk for 6 months and all that jazz. Like I said I dont talk on the phone that much but when I did get a missed call, I usually call them. So when I called my dentist back the damn thing decided to die on me. Die meaning the screen went all black. I looked it up online and apparently this is a known issue with Palm Pre. So since I just bought this phone I decided to go back to the store and have it exchanged. Since I dont have a data plan, the sales associate couldnt activate my phone properly since I dont have a data plan. Apparently you need the internet in order to access my profile from my old phone to the new one. I am so annoyed by that. I spent over 1 hour in the store waiting for it to work. Unfortunately the guy couldnt fix it because he has to wait for another sales associate who knows how to do it to get in the store tomorrow. So now I have to go back… : I am not impressed. So that annoyed me alot.

Then today I was checking my work email since I am on “vacation” and my request for ftp access for an employee still has not gone through. I’ve requested that last week when I was in the office and now that I’m almost done with vacation, it still has not finished.. How slow does it really take to give someone FTP access?! I know that the larger the company, the slower things are but it’s not like I’m asking for alot here… I’m sick and tired of this bullshit. Ugh.

Every year I get these allergies whenever there’s a change in weather. It usually varies from a cold, cough and itchy eyes. I’m usually prepared for it every year but this year was a different story. I didnt have any meds ready. I didnt even have a puffer ready. I dont know where my old puffer went but apparently youre suppose to only use it once? Then after a few years you cant use it again? I know that’s dirty but I really didnt know that that’s how its suppose to work. So now this entire weekend, I’m coughing like there’s no tomorrow and I can’t do anything about it but take numerous drugs when I know for a fact that the only way to get rid of it is by using a puffer which I no longer have. I have to stop by the walk-in clinic and ask for one and be late for work. I hate coming in to work late when I could just work from home. But no, my laptop is at work so I can’t pull that stunt.

Anyway, here I am blogging away and I didnt realize that the last few months have gone by so fast. I have 2 weeks left until I go to my vacation. I hope to go to anyway. I’m just so negative that I tend to think of the worst possible scenario. I guess that’s good for some situations but not on an everyday basis. I’m hungry now so I’ll cut this short. Hopefully next time I blog, I’m not coughing like mad anymore.
