windows 7
So get this I recently bought a new desktop because my ancient 2003-4 desktop decided to not boot up. Whenever I reboot the desktop, it would make this grinding sound somewhere either in my cd-rom, dvd-rom or in my hard drive. So finally I decided to get a new one since this one is so old that I’ve been upgrading its internal parts that I’m just too lazy and didnt have the time to reupgraded whatever it is that’s making that grinding sound. So on Saturday I did get a new desktop. I have 2 gb of memory now and around 400ish gb of space. I also had to buy Windows 7 since stores no longer sell XP. Yes I’m old school like that. Unfortunately the return policy is only 7 days on this one. I hope to not return this since I hate returning big arse items to the store since I don’t drive and all.
So while the new desktop was shutting down, it decided to install all these crazy updates. I hate your Microsoft. I hope you die for forcing your users to install something that may not be good for their pc. Today after work, I decided to turn it on and low and behold, my internet is no longer working. I know for a fact that it’s because of those updates that were installed from the night before. I’ve retried unplugging and plugging the network cable ( I dont use wireless). I’ve tried restarting the router. No luck. The other computers connected to the router was doing fine. They were able to connect to the internet without a problem. I even restarted the machine but it didnt work.
I ended up resorting to using the usb wireless stick that I use for my laptop. Finally, I’m on the net. I am so not impressed with this Windows 7 o/s…
. Thank goodness. I guess that’s it for now. Sorry I haven’t blogged in ages. It’s not like people visit this site anymore right?
